Spring 2024 preview: Flora tableware new collection

The new Flora tableware collection by Bordallo Pinheiro is designed to turn your table into an absolute fantasy this spring. A cheerful tableware that evokes a dreamy countryside, dotted with multicoloured flowers, textures and sensations.

The Flora collection from this famous Portuguese house is enjoyed not only with the eye, but also with the touch. Its pieces also invite you to enjoy them with your hands, running over their reliefs with your fingertips, while a conversation or the sounds of nature are heard.

In the plates and bowls that compose it, we can identify different plants and flowers such as poppies, daisies, dandelions or wild roses. Also hidden in their reliefs are some friendly insects. A tableware set that is pure inspiration, ideal for outdoor tables in gardens or on terraces decorated with plants.

Combining other pieces with Flora tableware

The new Flora collection consists of 25 different pieces and eight colours from nature. This great variety, made up of platters, presentation plates, dinner plates, dessert plates, bowls and salad bowls, allows us to create a total spring look or to soften the effect by combining its plates with some more neutral tableware.

We can also opt for a single colour, we love blue, and introduce blue pieces from other collections that you can find in the Bone and White shop, such as Sea and Sand.
Coral is another shade that can look great paired with light grey dinnerware such as Crystal or Sandy.




Choosing cutlery for Flora dinnerware

We love to combine this tableware with Cutipol Goa cutlery. White is always a good choice, but we can also think of blue or celadon depending on the combination of plates we have chosen.

Another option that will look great is to introduce cutlery with ivory or straw-coloured handles such as Djembe or Nacre by Sabre.

Vintage cutlery with a wooden handle is a perfect idea to help create that country atmosphere of a springtime meal surrounded by nature.

The collection has vases and glasses that can be used not only to serve water, but also to place little flowers and create an absolutely wonderful table.
The Flora collection by Bordallo Pinheiro is young and carefree, so we can place it without a tablecloth, directly on the table or on fibre or rattan placemats.

If we prefer to opt for a textile, this will be white if the composition of the table is very colourful. It will bring calm and will allow this beautiful tableware to stand out. If it is made of natural fabrics such as linen, great!

If we have opted for one of the beautiful colours of this collection, such as daffodil yellow, and we have combined it with white or cream, the choice of a coloured tablecloth will also be the right one.

Avoid pictures as they can result in an overloaded and confusing set.
